COMMISSIONS by DESPONDENCE

It’s that time where I have to make a little more cash to get by. Bills gotta get paid and I’m quickly running out of money. Haha. (I currently am not making enough to cover all my bills and there’s a list of games that I’d really like to get towards the end of the year.)

So here are the prices for some stuff if you guys wanna help out. :)

I take Paypal, and all prices are listed in USD.

Don’t be afraid to ask if you’d like to pay with Keys or items for TF2 as well. I’m always looking for mint paint and my Sniper collection is lacking…

Additional characters are initial price + half the cost of the initial price.

  • $20 initial + $10 (half initial) = $30
  • $60 initial + $30 (half initial) = $90
  • And so on
    ———————
  • For an additional $2, I can make anything you commission into a high resolution spray for TF2.

You can contact me about any questions and negotiate prices (and therefore work that will be done) via my email, tumblr message, or add me on steam.

Thanks a ton for the interest, guys. Any help or reblogs are really appreciated.

Check out this artist and get some commissions! :D

Just a drawing of one of the coolest chuas I have ever met! The hat just makes it for me, so I had to draw him! Enjoy, and I’ll see all you Wildstar fans at headstart!

Hey there! I'm trying to find the golden line for my Tweeting and Blogging in Tumblr to focus as much to things which game dev people like to read. I realized that the best (and only) way to do that, is to ask the game devs directly! So, here we go: What kind of gamedev related posts YOU would be interested in reading? Be honest with this one, ok? :) Hope to hear of you soon!

As far as things I would be interested in reading regarding game development, I would have to say articles involving the step by step process, coding examples for beginners, and probably creator’s thoughts during production.

The step by step stuff is fun for me, and probably to people new to making games. I’d like to know things like: Well if I decide to make a game, which aspects are more important? Should I work on mechanics first, or storyline? A systematic order to follow can be incredibly helpful in determining the likelihood that the game will get completed.

I’m completely new to programming, I’ll admit that. I’ve done some Javascript modding for Minecraft, did exercises in a Python and Pygame book, and I’m just learning a little C# Unity scripting. I’m really a novice to all of it, and seeing other people’s solutions to similar problems would be extremely helpful for other game developers. (even if it’s a poorly coded example, just knowing when to use raycasting and when to use collision detection can make all the difference!)

The last one is a bit more personal. I like to know the creator’s thoughts on the game at certain points, almost like a commentary. I’m a sucker for concept books for games. (Okami being my favorite) Because of the level of thought put into every piece of it. Even learning about what they took out can be helpful to other game developers, as they show how much work actually goes into something like this. (I feel a little upset that Okami took out dinosaurs as enemies relatively early in production, but it made more sense to leave them out and go with a traditional japanese painting style.) Having articles or snippits of creator insight would be really useful and fun for those interested in your game!

You also learn more about what the creators are proud of, and what they had huge issues with. Those kinds of things are very interesting to read, at least in my opinion. I hope that helps!

Yep! Commissions are open!
Some extra notes that didn’t make it on the page:
I do NOT do sketches/line-art/rough drawings. Every piece of artwork you get from me is fully colored and shaded. I don’t feel comfortable selling half-finished work, so I’m not going to.
If you are having some financial struggles, but still want a piece of artwork, we can try and work something out. Don’t be afraid to email me to discuss it.
I have the right to refuse any request I feel uncomfortable with. If I don’t feel like my artistic ability matches what you’re asking for, I will do my best to inform you.
Payments are done through Paypal.
I hope that covers everything! Ask me a question on here or email me for more information!
~Thanks for checking it out! I appreciate it!

Hey everyone! Just reblogging this for new followers! Due to some tight budget issues, I am looking for a few more people to fill slots!
In addition, PRICES ARE NEGOTIABLE. Feel free to contact me regarding commission information if you’re unsure. I’m willing to work with people!
I’m also dropping the sketch, rough drawing rule I’ve given myself. Some people have requested sketches in order to see my process, so now that is available!!
I look forward to hearing from you, and thanks for reading!
